Regions

This site is organized into six regions, each reflecting a distinct part of Vermont’s landscape, geography, and character. Together, they offer a way to explore towns, places, and photographic work across the state.

Northwest Vermont

A region shaped by Lake Champlain, open farmland, islands, and Vermont’s western edge.

Northeast Kingdom

Remote towns, layered hills, forests, and Vermont’s most secluded landscapes.

Central Vermont

River valleys, historic towns, working landscapes, and the civic center of the state.

Green Mountains

Forests, ridgelines, mountain passes, and the elevated spine of Vermont.

Southwest Vermont

Historic villages, slate valleys, pastoral farmland, and mountain towns along Vermont’s southwestern edge.

Connecticut River Valley

River towns, farmland, and long eastern views shaped by Vermont’s border with New Hampshire.
